dc.descriptionIn this chapter, we describe the atmospheres of the terrestrial planets of our Solar System. After a brief introduction on the concept of “comparative planetology”, we introduce different theoretical elements which permit us to better grasp the differences existing within the atmospheres of Mercury, Venus, Mars and Earth.
