We document a case of predation by a Naja samarensis from South Cotabato Province, Mindanao Island, Philippines, on a Cyclocorus nuchalis nuchalis through X-ray computed tomography and photography. The snout-vent length of the juvenile cobra was 301 mm while the SVL of its adult lamprophiid prey was more than 228 mm. It is the first squamate prey recorded for this cobra in the wild.
