| dc.description | The project Biodiversity Heritage Library for Europe (BHL-Europe) started on May 1 st , 2009. It ran for three <br>years and has been financed within the framework of the European program eContentplus. The aim of the <br>project was to bring together existing digital collections of biodiversity legacy literature from the libraries in <br>Europe s natural history institutions 2 into a free and openly accessible online portal at www.bhl-europe.eu, from where it is also harvested by Europe s digital library, archive, and museum Europeana.<br>This report consists of an review and evaluation of the project in order that lessons learned can be applied in the context of the Open Up! project. <br> | |
