The correlation functions of a stochastically forced climate model describing the coupling between the mean ocean surface temperature and the'extent of sea-ice are computed in the Gaussian approximation. A diagnostic relation between the variability of the surface temperature and that of the ice extent is obtained. Information on the variance of the random forces acting on the system is also deduced.
