Royal Library of Belgium
KBR is the national scientific library and collects all Belgian publications. The institution preserves, manages and studies more than 8 million documents, a rich cultural and historical heritage.

KBR offers numerous information sources for scientific and historical research. The special collections held at KBR have their own dedicated departments: Coins and Medals, Manuscripts, Maps and Plans, Music, Prints, Rare Books and Newspapers.
The library building includes the Palace of Charles de Lorraine, where temporary exhibitions are held, and its own museum, dedicated to the Library of the Dukes of Burgundy.
