This article focuses on a painting by Felipe Diriksen in the De Mindere Museum in Sint-Truiden, identifying it as an authentic work by the artist. Diriksen was born into a family of migrant artists from the Southern Netherlands. This study also uncovers a rare and unprecedented iconography depicting the Franciscan Tertiary Mariana de Jesús (1577-1620), a seventeenth century mystic living in Toledo (Spain).
