After more than a decade of use and increasing functional limitations, the institution transitioned to a new in‑house developed system, SAM (State Archives Management). SAM incorporates all core features of Archeion, adds improved usability and expanded capabilities, and now serves as the web‑based platform for managing physical storage, user registrations, reading room activities, and archival accessibility (https://sam.arch.be).en_US
