    Description
Methane and nitrous oxide have been observed by limb absorption spectrometry using the Spacelab One grille spectrometer. The CH4 ν3 band is obsserved with a 0.1 cm−1 resolution up to 80 km while N2O can be seen up to 52 km in strong lines of its ν3 band. The values are compared, where possible, with previous observations and are in agreement with rocket determinations.
