dc.description | L'étude de la stabilité de circulations de Hadley est abordée dans un modèle quasi-géostrophique à 3 couches ou la couche supérieure est censée représenter la stratosphère. Un apport de chaleur considéré comme d'origine radiative est introduit dans la couche supérieure. Cet apport est proportionnel à la différence entre la température potentielle de la couche et celle d'une contrainte fixée à priori au sommet du modèle. Le but est d'examiner comment la courbe critique de transition d'un régime de Hadley vers un régime de Roosby est altérée sous l'action de cette contrainte thermique. | |
dc.description | The study of the stability of Hadley’s circulations is approached in a three-layer quasi-geostrophic model in which the highest layer is assumed to represent the stratosphere. Heat, presumed to originate in radiation processes, is transferred into this upper layer; the magnitude of the transfer is proportional to the difference between the potential temperature of the layer itself and the a priori fixed potential temperature of a constraint at the top of the model. The purpose is to analyse how the critical transition curve from a Hadley to a Rossby regime is altered under the effect of the thermal constraint. | |
