Description
In this paper a full screen editor running on a SPERRY 1100 is presented. This rigorism in the syntax of its commands makes this editor very easy to use. As both forward and backward pointers are used, the file to be edited can be scanned in both directions leading to a saving of time. The editor is written in ASCII FORTRAN which makes it very portable to non-SPERRY computers.
