Avec des approximations convenables on applique le formalisme mathématique de la théorie de STÔRMER-LEMAITRE-VALLARTA à des groupes de particules sans interaction, suppos »s représenter les ceintures de VAN ALLEN ; on étudie en particulier l’instabilité de ces groupes par suite des différences dans la latitude de réflexion.With suitable approximations, mathematical expressions of the STÔRMER-LEMAITRE-VALLARTA theory have been applied to groups of particles without interaction supposed responsible for the VAN ALLEN belts; instability of these groups by spread in latitude of reflection is specially considered.
