We present some verification scores for the operational model ALADIN Belgium for the year 2000. We set up an overall verification plan that is based on the WMO-guidelines. Even though the list of scores that are presented here is far from exhaustive, we draw some conclusions that pertain to the practical use of the model ALADIN at the RMIB. Partially based on these conclusions we formulate some recommendations for the future use of the model.
